Job PurposeProvide analytical support and be responsible for analyzing data and activities to provide relevant and up-to-date information to support portfolio decision-making.
As a Senior Analyst, you will also track financial forecasts, work plan milestones, initiate reports for senior management and jurisdictional reviews, and update project status for Electric Operations.
At a higher level, this role will design and implement governance policies and procedures to facilitate the portfolio calibration process.
Key AccountabilitiesLead a team that is accountable for Processes and behaviors in place to manage the external and internal data quality.
Model datasets and analyze key themes from a wide range of data sources to validate data, prioritize risk, and identify how different scenarios may impact upon the business, making recommendations based on the results of the analyses.
Analyze risk, financial, and operational data and translate objectives into the capital budget and 10-year plan to minimize operational risk and target investments with the greatest projected benefit in line with corporate strategy and other long-term goals.
Work with wider Work Developent and Resource Management team to analyze planned versus actual work to enable understanding of situations that lead to variances and help stakeholders work through strategies to minimize these situations.
Produce effective reports for use by senior leaders to help them understand the multi-faceted impact of planned work and make recommendations.
Understand and apply operative Regulatory agreements and support regulatory filings to various business models.
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience RequiredDemonstrate strong leadership skills.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally to the organization; may include presentation skills.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or engineering or equivalent experiencePreferably, 8
